Cairns via Mission Beach and Innisfail

After 5354 km and almost 3 month on the road we finished the first big Trip: Cairns. We left the 2 girls in Innisfail where they want to work over Christmas. Mission Beach is just a beach but as we have stinger season there is really nothing to see except you are an adrenalin junkie than you can jump out of a plane. We just eat our first coco nut in Mission Beach. Retrospective I can say I have seen some real nature wonders, met some great characters and stayed with some amazing people via hc/cs along the East Coast. We will spend Christmas with a cs member in the north of Cairns. He is living in a palace as he and his wife are doctors who live directly in the rain forest. Some days before New Year we will book a hostel to spend the last minutes of the year with some other travellers and with a bottle of Jim Beam. I wish you all a Happy New Year and Merry Xmas. Pictures later ...

Next big destination: Alice Springs – the heart of Australia
