Agnes Water, Town 1770 – Lifeguard competition
[mileage: 3756 km] My first goal was to travel to Agnes Water, a small village like Klöden but with a high development the last years. They builded 2 resorts and there is a high controversial discussion about it. Whatever I like the place because its not such a tourist place like the gold coast. I spend there 3 days and explored the surroundings. One morning I waked up and the parking area was crowded with family's. I looked to the number plates and a lot of them came from quite far away. I went to the beach and there was competition of the Lifeguard Clubs in the Region. Volunteering is a real normal thing in Australia. Almost everybody is doing something like fire fighter, lifeguard or tourist information volunteer. The weather on this day was cloudy and I decided not to protect me against the sun (there was no sun) This was a really bad mistake because I got sunburned and the next 2 weeks I lost my skin. Never, really never forget to protect against the Australian sun even when it looks like rain. Next day I visited town 1770 with the point where Captain Cook first entered the Australian country and walked a bit around the Bustard Head. There was a caravan park with no fences and I thought I’m ready for a (illegal) warm shower. Thanks again 1770 caravan park ;)
20 m running and catching a stick
the best 4 in a k.o. system
second step: swimming around 500 m
last step: surfing 500 m in a team
looking to the power of the ocean and relaxing(Bustard Head)
landing point of Captain Cook in Australia
I found a buried treasure !
