sailing in the harbour
[mileage: 180 km] After the weekend Mark offered us a sailing trip through the Sydney harbour on his boat. The forecast showed best possibility's. We arrived his wharf in North Sydney at 12am and paddled to his boat with a nutshell. (Nussschale) We hoist the sails in front of the Opera House and sailed north-east to Manley. We stopped there in a small bay and ate our lunch. The bay was for foreign people who arrived Australia with a ship in the last century. They inspected the peoples health and it was like a quarantine station.
