Riga New Year Party(s) 05/06

500 people from more than 30 countries celebrated one week the biggest New Year Eve ever. After lot of hc events I participated I have to say that was even for me too crazy! The week after I was ready for holidays and wasn’t able to drink anything. But is was great and I won’t miss it. But let’s have a look to the pictures…

A day before I hitchhiked to Berlin to Andy (hc member) whom I contacted via hospitalityclub.org some days before for accommodation. He invited me to visit some finish hc members who contacted him. He was planning to celebrate a "New Year Beach Party" in his flat with 200 kg sand and a lot of ice. So we laught and talked the hole night in a nice bar somewhere in Berlin.

Almost 4 o'clock in the morning Andy drove me to the airport "Schönefeld" where I met up some hc members who sleeped in a corner.



RIGA!! Back again!


In the background they discuss the tasty pasta and I have deep conservation with a Dutch man.


Maybe the conservation wasn't so deep?!? What is that for a move?!

1. Night - 1. Party
aaahhhh, his mother gave him this warm hut to make sure he has no cold ears...

day before the big party... looks like 10000000 members arrived at the irish pub... no way to move without kicking someones beer or gettin burned by a cigarette.. or touch some girls butt :-)
I helped with registration stuff.

2. Night - 2. Party-> New Year Eve
People prepare for the Party in a mask workshop.

Well, for 500 people you need MAAAANNNYY 2 litre bottles BEER ...



In sunshine Riga New Year Party you need some sunglasses ...

(crumb) king found the 4 devil for a hot night and one angel for the day after :-)

I found my best friend for this night a latvian party potato! ;-)

2. day - New Year Day morning
excursion to bobsled ...

Do I really want to do this?!? After last night my belly said NO!

Girl... to hold this line won't help you with 90 km/hour ;-)

But no risk no fun :)

Ahhhhhh, I will die young !!! :-)

We survived and came back with a good old russian transporter ...


3. Party - 3.Night ->AFTER PARTY "ORANGE BAR"
at the beginning of the day it looked like all hc-members are real tiered after the exhausting nye-party... but in the evening we flooded into the orangebar - it was outstanding... the bargirls there expected a calm evening... but better have a look at the pictures. just one thing, the next day they didnt allowed us to enter again :-)

4. Night - 4. Party-> After After Party

After the after Party followed 3 more partys but I wasn't able to make more pictures or to find some pictures with me. After all I have to say this was the wildest New Year Party in my life and I won't miss that ...
