Freiburg Meeting 05

After a long Friday(9.12.05) night in the Leipzig nightlife (journalists “get to know each other” party) I drove back to Halle about 12pm. Next morning I took my backpack and ran with 4 hours sleep to the main train station in Halle Finally the 6am ICE to Freiburg. I was sleeping the whole trip. My host Sarah was waiting in the main station in Freiburg. We talk rubbish and went into a pizzeria to meet her student group. After some hours I left the group to explore Freiburg. Very nice houses and some kind like French style everywhere. The town was full with tourists from France, Switzerland and Austria. But I liked the happy hour with free mulled wine on the Christmas market. With up warming mulled wine in my cold hands I called Mathias (Düsseldorf hc volunteer) for the meeting place. He told they (20 people) chilling in Wibke’s flat and discussing over the design for the hc site. After getting cash out of a bank I walked 4 km in east direction of Freiburg. Finally I got a warm welcome and after some hours we went to the party location in the “Mensa Bar” We celebrate a very nice party with crazy people, 2 live bands and even in the morning I waked up with some interesting paintings on my belly.
