the world is a crumb: ***Zuza's, Pikachu's and Meglok's Birthdayparty in the middle of nowhere:)***

Last weekend I was in Zuza's, Pikachu's and Meglok's Birthdayparty near Poznan in a small village called Łęczno. After hitchhiking from Halle with 3 lifts to Berlin I met Falk (hc zabelrider), Michael (hc miicoo) and Jens (hc jenseb) from Berlin on the service area "Am Fichtenplan" near the motorway A10. Accidental I met hitchhiker Zach/Canada in front of the gas station with whom I got in contact in Bamberg. He was hitchhiking from Magdeburg to the same party. I helped with asking the people for a lift. And after a 3/4 hour we found a lift directly to Miedzichowo. I myself just had to wait for my lift till the party Trabant arrived in the service area. After 2 hours they arrived with the trabant and after extensive-warm welcome, purchasing food + beer for the trip we started our journey to Lecno in Poland.

The ride was characterized through talks about HC, Voolunteer-Work, Hitchhiking experiences and journeys in the whole world - just typical for us travellers.

After endless beautiful deserted countrysides, pee breaks ;) and beer supplies we arrived in Miedzichowo. After a right turn into the village we went straight till the asphalt ends. After 2 km field path without any house far and wide we saw a small light quite far away.

When we got closer we could see the contour of a country house surrounded with fields, meadows and forests. Everywhere in the house shining lights and on the house gate a small sign " Welcome in the middle of nowhere"! Crazy! We found the location and they where already waiting for our Party Trabant because we explained quite a lot in the hc forum before.

Many of the people remembered the peace trabant with our 2 boxes apples from Berlin Beach camp :)

The house was very nice from in and outside.

Old wooden furnitures with a fireplace in combination with art, family and student pictures and portraits.

A lot of pictures with Zuzas family and student groups. Her father works in an academy of arts as a teacher. Zuzas mother works in a kindergarten.

We celebrate the whole 2 night with crazy things like "onion eating contest", "pumpkin carving and trying to drink 96% spirit :)

But most important on such meetings are the talks with very interesting people over their background, their way of life, their experience of life, their life expectancys and their fond of life. This is the most important reason for me to travel in different countrys and meeting new people. I want to learn more about the world, languages, cultures, people and myself. It's like Jason/Canada said "I am searching for truth in the world so if you see it please let me know."

Saturday we waked up midday and we planned to go for a walk back to the village. We buyed stuff for the pasta we wanted to cook in the evening and than we saw a pub on the otherside of the street.

And like it happen sometimes in pubs, we spend some hours with german,english billiard battle and drinking beer.

We came back in the late saturday afternoon and the girls already cleaned up the house a bit and thats why the mans cooked the meal for the evening. Some of the guys fixed a bed we broke in the last party night and some choped the wood for the wooden heating. A work division like in a big hc-family :)
